About TTS Point Unit

POINT TTS units installed in the vehicle contains a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, a MODEM for mobile communication and a processor. Monitoring sensors are integrated to the system to allow the client to obtain vehicle's information activity in real time. Point TTS integrates advanced and sophisticated electronic systems that provide power and control to The Monitoring and Emergency Center (MEC).

Every unit contains an alarm and an immobilizing device for the vehicle. In case of robbery, accident, towing, or if the vehicle leaves a predetermined area, it sends a signal to the MEC for its immediate recovery.

The unit is protected with an aluminum case and is hidden in the vehicle along with the other components: connectors, volume sensors, antennas among others.

The POINT TTS unit includes:

• • A GPS card that indicates vehicle's location.
• • A bidirectional communication unit, based on the mobile phone's network that allows a quick deployment of the system for its immediate use, and extended coverage.
• • An alarm device that controls the entire vehicle's systems receives vehicle's information and sends an alert to the MEC in case of theft, emergency, or call for help.
• • Protection for all vehicle doors.
• • A vehicle's immobilizing device installed inside the rig.
• • A towing detector, which sends a signal to the MEC when the vehicle is stolen and/or towed.
• • A special detector that alerts the MEC if the alarm system is triggered.
• • A backup alarm device that is used when the battery is disconnected from the vehicle.
• • An indicator for the backup battery's state.
• • A panic button hidden in a specific place of the vehicle that sends a signal to the MEC if the driver presses it in case of emergency.
• • An impact sensor that indicates to the MEC when the vehicle has been in an accident.

POINT TTS units have a processing device with a great capacity of information that enables clients to analyze events and to send messages according to their needs.
